John Teser has seized on the opportunity to buy Everton as if he had become the President of the United States

John Textor has compared the chance to become Everton’s new owner to being elected president of the United States and says he is confident of taking over by the November 30 deadline set in his exclusive deal with Farhad Moshiri. The American businessman, who was granted an exclusivity period by Blue Heaven Holdings, Everton’s owner, was ignored by Moshiri last month he sold his 45% stake in the club and Crystal Palace on Tuesday, according to the Guardian, who became the fifth bidder but are considering allowing Everton fans to buy shares for £600m.

Sky Sports and co-owners David Blitzer and Josh Harris are also understood to have two serious bids to buy his stake in Palace, but Textor admitted he was unable to fully assess the club’s financial situation.

Asked about the contractual challenges, he said “I’m in an awkward spot, but I’m working through it. The downside is that I understand the club’s position and feel that the accounting position is manageable on the PSR issue.I don’t know the Premier League’s point of view because there’s a Chinese wall between what I, as the owner of Crystal Palace, and another team owner in the same division really get to know, but I think we’re developing solutions to that information gap.As for that, I think we’re in the last days of our comfort.

It owns stakes in Brazilian clubs Botafogo and Molenbeek and plans to float on the New York Stock Exchange in the coming weeks.

He is understood to be planning to use his own money and that of several unidentified partners to finance the Everton buyout before bringing the club into Eagle football.”Asking if you want to own Everton for life is like asking if you want to be the president of the United States,” Texttor said.

Textor has ruled out targeting Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira to replace Sean Dyche if he succeeds in his position despite three defeats at the start of the season.“ It is not true that I have spoken to any manager about the Everton job.I don’t know Sean personally, but having seen him do wonders on a budget at Burnley over the years, he’s obviously someone who knows how to coach.Premier League.I will sit down with him sometime in the future and bring him his profile’s players from around the world and ask if he’s interested.I want to ask him if he can coach this team,” he said.

Textor said the move to the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock would help the club be more competitive.”Everton does not want to stay in the 8th place forever. We want to win a trophy and we need big capital to do so.It’s always great to play in my life because the stadium is so big.”
