Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has used the title and Euros to fuel a Premier League tilt

After 23 years of playing in the Champions League for Arsenal and England, Saka has been a key player for club and country, losing both the Euro Championship finals against England, but Saka said his first goal showed how far he has come.

Having spent two seasons as England’s player of the year, Arsenal’s attacking prowess is in no doubt, so this development is astonishing. Saka has been in the form of his life, assisting all but one of Arsenal’s six goals this season.

But what’s remarkable is that after the marathon Euros, while other England players are tired or fatigued, Sakka is fresher than ever.  Smarter and better.

Manchester City’s England stars Kyle Walker;  John Stones and Phil Foden were reintegrated into the squad, and even Arsenal’s Declan Rice felt the effects, admitting he was yet to play his best.

In contrast, Saka used his entire summer vacation to recharge. He said he was refreshed and determined to overcome the disappointment of the championship and the Euros.Norwegian midfielder Odegaard will be sidelined for at least eight weeks and will make his voice heard on the pitch as not only Arsenal’s creative force but also their leader.

Saka has worn the captain’s armband on a few occasions for the Gunners and was promoted to England’s leadership team during the Euros in the summer, and is seen as a future captain.

Now Saka says it will be up to Arsenal to cope without Odegaard in the next few weeks and ensure they push for the top spot in his absence.

He added: “ Martin,he’s a world-class player and we’ll miss him. We have to adapt. We have the strength to play in his position. We’ll figure it out until he comes back.”
